Orendale Community Rules

Last updated: October 21, 2026

Orendale is a game you can play on your own, but some parts are shared with other players: you choose a player name, you can add friends, send gifts, invite people with a referral code, and compare your results on leaderboards. These rules keep those parts friendly and safe for everyone. They are part of our User Agreement (https://www.wendelstudios.com/user-agreement). When you choose your name in the game and press Confirm, you agree to them.

Orendale is intended for players aged 13 and over.

There is no chat in Orendale, and you cannot write free text to other players. The things other players can see from you are your player name, whether you are online, the gifts you send, and your score and rank on the leaderboards.

1. Your player name

Other players find you with your player name, so it has to be something everyone can see. Your name must not contain or suggest:

• hate speech, slurs, or insults aimed at a group of people;
• sexual or explicit content;
• violence, threats, self-harm, or terrorism;
• illegal activity or drugs;
• harassment or personal attacks on a real person.

Also:

• No impersonation. Do not pretend to be Wendel Studios, our staff, another player, a company, or a public figure. Names such as "Admin", "Moderator", "Support", or "Official" are not allowed.
• No personal information. Do not put your real name, phone number, address, email, or social media handles in your name.
• No advertising. Do not use your name to advertise websites, accounts, or products.

The game checks names against a list of blocked words in many languages. That check is not perfect: a name that the game accepts is not automatically allowed. If a name breaks these rules, we can ask you to change it or act on your account as described in section 6.

2. Friends and other players

• Be respectful. Do not harass, threaten, or bully other players, and do not send repeated friend requests to someone who has ignored, declined, or blocked you.
• If a player blocks you, accept it. Do not use another account to contact them.
• Do not try to find out or share other players' personal information.
• You can block any player at any time. A blocked player cannot send you requests.

3. Gifts and referral codes

• Gifts are for friends. Do not sell, buy, trade, or advertise gifts, items, or accounts for real money.
• Do not scam other players. We will never ask you for your password or login details, and neither should another player.
• Each player has their own referral code. A code can be used by a limited number of new players, and a new account can enter only one code. Do not create extra accounts, enter your own code, or use scripts or other tricks to collect referral rewards or gifts.
• Do not use bots, scripts, or modified versions of the game to send gifts, claim rewards, or use the online features. If you find a bug, please tell us through Contact Us in the game instead of using it.

4. Leaderboards

• Leaderboards are public: everyone who opens a leaderboard can see your player name, your score, and your rank. Your name must follow the rules in section 1.
• Play fair. Do not use cheats, hacks, bots, scripts, save editors, modified versions of the game, or bugs and exploits to raise your score, your Group Gear Score, or your number of kills, and do not send scores in any other way than through the game itself. If you find a bug, tell us through Contact Us in the game.
• Do not create extra accounts to take places on a leaderboard or to collect leaderboard prizes.
• Prizes (for example for the monthly Enemies Killed leaderboard) are given by final rank and are placed in your Inbox. We do not pay prizes for results that were obtained by breaking these rules.
• You cannot hide from a leaderboard while staying in the ranking. To remove your entries from the live leaderboards, use Delete My Game Data on the login screen.

5. Reporting and blocking

If you see a name or behaviour that breaks these rules:

• Report the player: open Online > Friends and press Report next to their name (you can report friends and players who sent you a request). We receive your report together with the player's name and ID.
• Block the player the same way, so they cannot contact you.
• Or write to us with Online > Contact Us, or at support@wendelstudios.com.

We review reports and aim to look at each one within 3 days. We do not tell the reported player who reported them. Please report honestly: false or repeated reports meant to hurt another player can lead to action against the reporting account too.

6. What happens if you break the rules

Depending on how serious it is and whether it has happened before, we may:

• ask you to change your name, or change it for you;
• remove friends, gifts, leaderboard entries, or rewards that were obtained by breaking the rules, and withhold or take back leaderboard prizes;
• limit your access to friends, gifts, or other online features;
• suspend your account for a time;
• ban your account permanently.

Offensive or hateful names and serious or repeated violations can lead to an immediate permanent ban, without a warning.

If you think we made a mistake, write to us through Online > Contact Us or at support@wendelstudios.com. Tell us your player name and what happened, and we will review it.

7. Changes

We may update these rules, for example when we add new online features. We will change the date at the top of this page when we do. If you keep using the online features after a change, you agree to the updated rules.
