Terms and Conditions for Orendale

These Terms and Conditions apply to Orendale, including the game, website, accounts, cloud save features, updates, digital content, in game purchases, advertisements, community features, and related services. 

Orendale is operated by Wendel Studios, also known as Wendel Studios, located at Netherlands, Eindhoven, Kruisakker 36. You can contact us at support@wendelstudios.com. 

By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing Orendale, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use Orendale. 

  1. Definitions 

“Orendale”, “the Game”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Orendale and Wendel Studios. 

“You” and “player” refer to anyone who downloads, installs, accesses, or plays Orendale. 

“Account” means a player profile, login, save file, cloud save profile, platform account connection, or any other account used to access Orendale. 

“Virtual Items” means digital items used in Orendale, including but not limited to classes, allies, weapons, gear, runes, skins, loot boxes, battle pass rewards, inventory expansions, energy, gold, platinum, stardust, shards, materials, and other digital content. 

“Premium Content” means any Virtual Item, feature, unlock, bundle, battle pass, expansion, class, currency, or other digital content that is purchased with real money or premium currency. 

“Platform” means any store, device, or service where Orendale is made available, including but not limited to Steam, Google Play, Apple App Store, itch.io, Windows, Android, iOS, and other supported platforms. 

  2. Eligibility 

Orendale is not intended for children under the age of 13. 

If you are under the age of 16 and you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another region with similar rules, you may need permission from a parent or legal guardian to create an account, use online features, allow personal data processing where consent is required, or make purchases. 

If you are under the legal age of majority in your country, your parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf. By allowing a minor to use Orendale, the parent or guardian accepts responsibility for the minor’s use of the Game, including purchases and online activity. 

  3. License to Use Orendale 

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non exclusive, non transferable license to install and play Orendale for personal entertainment purposes. 

This license does not give you ownership of Orendale, its code, art, music, story, characters, systems, Virtual Items, accounts, or any other content. Orendale and all related content remain owned by us or our licensors. 

You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, modify, distribute, exploit, or create unauthorized versions of Orendale, except where allowed by law. 

  4. Accounts and Save Data 

Some features of Orendale may require an account, platform login, cloud save connection, or internet connection. 

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You must not share your login details, sell your account, trade your account, or allow another person to access your account in a way that violates these Terms. 

We may use local saves, cloud saves, account data, platform saves, or other systems to store your progress. While we will try to keep save systems working correctly, we cannot guarantee that save data will never be lost, corrupted, overwritten, delayed, or unavailable. 

You must not edit, tamper with, manipulate, duplicate, sell, or exploit save files, cloud saves, account data, currencies, items, rewards, battle pass progress, or purchase records. 

  5. Game Content and Updates 

Orendale is an evolving game. We may add, remove, rebalance, adjust, update, patch, or change content, including but not limited to classes, abilities, allies, enemies, maps, story content, weapons, gear, runes, currencies, drop rates, rewards, energy systems, battle pass rewards, loot boxes, shop items, prices, difficulty, user interface, and game modes. 

Balance changes may affect how strong, rare, useful, or valuable certain Virtual Items feel in gameplay. These changes are part of normal game development and do not create a right to compensation, unless required by applicable law. 

We may release experimental content, test builds, beta features, limited events, or temporary features. These may change or be removed at any time. 

  6. Purchases and Payments 

Orendale may offer optional purchases. These may include but are not limited to premium currency, gold packs, platinum, energy packs, starter bundles, advanced bundles, class unlocks, battle passes, premium loot boxes, inventory expansions, cosmetic items, account upgrades, and other digital content. 

Purchases may be processed by the Platform where you downloaded or accessed Orendale. Platform payment terms, refund rules, taxes, parental controls, billing systems, and purchase confirmations may apply in addition to these Terms. 

Before completing a purchase, the price and important purchase details should be shown to you in the store, platform interface, or in game purchase screen. Where required, the cost of digital items or premium currency will be shown clearly in real world currency. 

You are responsible for all purchases made through your account, including purchases made by minors or other people who have access to your device or account, unless applicable law says otherwise. 

  7. Virtual Currency 

Orendale may include virtual currencies such as gold, platinum, stardust, shards, materials, energy, or other in game resources. 

Virtual currency has no real world monetary value. It is not money, stored value, cryptocurrency, a bank balance, a financial product, or a gift card. It cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for real money, transferred outside Orendale, sold, traded, refunded, or redeemed for anything outside the Game, unless we clearly state otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise. 

Virtual currency may only be used inside Orendale for the purposes allowed by the Game. 

We may limit, adjust, rebalance, remove, or change how virtual currency is earned, spent, stored, or used, as long as we do not violate mandatory consumer rights. 

  8. Virtual Items and Ownership 

Virtual Items are licensed to you for use inside Orendale. You do not own Virtual Items in a real world property sense. 

Virtual Items cannot be sold, traded, transferred, rented, exchanged, gifted, or redeemed outside Orendale unless we officially provide such a feature. 

Unauthorized trading, account selling, item selling, currency selling, boosting, duplication, or real money trading is prohibited. 

We may modify or remove Virtual Items if needed for balancing, bug fixing, technical reasons, legal reasons, security reasons, anti cheat enforcement, platform requirements, or game design reasons. 

  9. Random Rewards and Loot Boxes 

Orendale may include random reward systems, including loot boxes, premium boxes, reward chests, daily boxes, spin rewards, enemy drops, boss drops, event rewards, mining rewards, or other chance based rewards. 

If a random reward is purchased with real money or premium currency, we will disclose the odds or probability of receiving each type of reward before purchase where required by law or platform policy. 

Random rewards are chance based. Purchasing or opening a random reward does not guarantee that you will receive a specific item, rarity, weapon, class, currency amount, or reward unless the game clearly states that a guarantee applies. 

Random rewards in Orendale are for entertainment and gameplay only. They are not gambling, casino games, betting, cash prizes, financial products, investments, or real money wagering. Rewards cannot be cashed out, sold to us, or exchanged for real money. 

If Orendale includes pity counters, guaranteed rewards, event limited rewards, or special drop rules, the relevant rules will be shown in the Game or event description. 

  10. Battle Passes, Events, and Limited Time Content 

Orendale may include battle passes, daily rewards, login rewards, seasonal rewards, events, limited time offers, special maps, training modes, waves, survival, boss modes, or other temporary content. 

Battle passes and events may only be available for a limited period. Rewards that are not claimed before the end of the period may be lost, unless the Game clearly states otherwise. 

We may change, extend, shorten, cancel, replace, or repeat events where needed for technical, legal, balancing, security, or design reasons. 

  11. Refunds and Right of Withdrawal 

Refund requests are usually handled by the Platform where the purchase was made, such as Google Play, Apple App Store, Steam, or another store. 

Digital content may be delivered immediately after purchase. Where allowed by law, by requesting immediate access to digital content, you may acknowledge that your legal withdrawal right can be limited or lost once delivery begins. This does not affect any mandatory rights you may have under consumer protection law. 

We may refuse refunds where content has already been used, consumed, opened, claimed, or delivered, unless applicable law or the Platform refund policy requires otherwise. 

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights in your country. 

  12. Ads and Rewarded Ads 

Orendale may show advertisements, including rewarded ads, interstitial ads, banner ads, or other ad formats. 

Rewarded ads may allow you to receive optional in game rewards, such as energy, gold, mining clicks, boxes, or other resources. Rewards may depend on ad availability, internet connection, platform rules, ad provider rules, and technical conditions. 

We do not guarantee that an ad will always be available or that rewarded ads will always grant the same reward. 

Ads should be identifiable as ads and should not intentionally trick you into clicking them. If you see an inappropriate or age inappropriate ad, please report it through the available reporting option or contact us at support@wendelstudios.com. 

  13. Fair Play and Prohibited Conduct 

You agree not to do any of the following: 

Use cheats, hacks, bots, automation, scripts, memory editors, modified clients, unauthorized tools, save editors, or exploits. 

Manipulate purchases, currencies, rewards, battle pass progress, cloud saves, drop rates, timers, daily limits, mining clicks, energy systems, or random rewards. 

Abuse bugs, duplicate items, bypass payment systems, access locked content without permission, or interfere with server systems. 

Sell, buy, rent, share, transfer, or trade accounts, Virtual Items, currencies, or services outside official systems. 

Harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, scam, or harm other players, community members, testers, moderators, developers, or support staff. 

Upload, share, or display illegal, hateful, sexual, exploitative, abusive, threatening, infringing, or harmful content. 

Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, disrupt, overload, attack, or gain unauthorized access to Orendale, its servers, systems, accounts, or data. 

Use Orendale for fraud, money laundering, gambling, illegal transactions, or any unlawful purpose. 

  14. Community Features and User Content 

Orendale may include community features, player names, feedback forms, bug reports, Discord communities, forums, chat, usernames, profiles, reviews, or other user content features. 

You are responsible for anything you submit, post, name, upload, or share. 

By submitting feedback, bug reports, ideas, suggestions, names, messages, screenshots, videos, or other content to us, you give us permission to use, copy, modify, display, publish, and apply that content for support, moderation, marketing, development, bug fixing, and improvement of Orendale without payment to you. 

You must only submit content that you have the right to share. 

We may remove, hide, restrict, or moderate user content that violates these Terms, platform rules, community rules, or applicable law. 

  15. Intellectual Property 

Orendale, including its name, logo, story, world, characters, abilities, classes, enemies, weapons, items, user interface, systems, artwork, animations, music, sound effects, code, designs, maps, dialogue, lore, and all related content, is protected by intellectual property laws. 

You may not use Orendale content for commercial purposes without written permission. 

You may create non commercial fan content, screenshots, gameplay videos, streams, guides, reviews, and community posts, as long as you do not claim ownership of Orendale, mislead others, sell our assets, distribute game files, reveal confidential test content without permission, or violate these Terms. 

We may ask you to remove fan content if it violates these Terms, infringes rights, misuses our content, harms the Game, or creates legal risk. 

  16. Testing, Alpha, Beta, and Early Access Builds 

If you access an alpha, beta, demo, test, early access, or unreleased version of Orendale, you understand that the Game may contain bugs, missing content, unfinished systems, placeholder content, balance issues, crashes, save resets, or other problems. 

Progress, rewards, purchases, items, or save data in test versions may be reset or changed before release, unless we clearly state otherwise. 

If test content is marked private or confidential, you may not share it publicly without permission. 

  17. Third Party Services 

Orendale may use third party services for platform login, cloud saving, analytics, crash reporting, advertisements, purchases, customer support, store distribution, hosting, anti cheat, or other functionality. 

Third party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, and rules. We are not responsible for third party services outside our control, but we will try to use reputable providers and follow applicable law. 

  18. Privacy 

Your use of Orendale may involve the collection and processing of personal data, such as account identifiers, platform identifiers, device information, gameplay data, purchase records, crash reports, analytics data, support messages, cloud save data, and advertising data. 

Our use of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, available at [Privacy Policy Link]. 

By using Orendale, you acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy. These Terms do not replace the Privacy Policy. 

  19. Security and Enforcement 

We may investigate suspected violations of these Terms, platform rules, payment rules, or applicable law. 

If we believe that you have violated these Terms, we may take action, including warnings, support restrictions, removal of exploited items, currency corrections, progress resets, account suspension, account termination, purchase restrictions, feature restrictions, or reports to a Platform or legal authority. 

We will try to act reasonably and proportionately, but serious violations may result in immediate action. 

  20. Availability and Online Services 

We will try to keep Orendale available and working, but we do not guarantee that the Game, servers, cloud saves, ads, purchases, events, or online features will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error free. 

Orendale may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, platform issues, internet issues, server issues, legal requirements, security incidents, or other reasons. 

We may discontinue Orendale or certain online features in the future. If we do, we will try to provide reasonable notice where practical, unless urgent legal, security, platform, or technical reasons prevent us from doing so. 

  21. Changes to These Terms 

We may update these Terms from time to time. 

If we make important changes, we will try to notify you through the Game, website, store page, email, or another reasonable method. 

If you continue using Orendale after updated Terms take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using Orendale. 

  22. Disclaimers 

Orendale is provided for entertainment purposes. 

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Orendale is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that Orendale will meet your expectations, be available at all times, be free from bugs, or work on every device. 

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. 

  23. Limitation of Liability 

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of progress, loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, device problems, account access issues, or inability to use Orendale. 

Our total liability for claims related to Orendale will be limited to the amount you paid to us for Orendale during the 12 months before the claim, unless applicable law requires a higher amount. 

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights where applicable. 

  24. Indemnity 

If you violate these Terms or misuse Orendale, you agree to compensate us for reasonable losses, costs, claims, damages, and expenses caused by your violation, unless applicable law does not allow this. 

  25. Governing Law 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide you with additional rights. 

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws of your country of residence.

If you have a complaint, refund issue, account issue, purchase issue, or legal question, please contact us first at:

Please include your player ID, platform, device type, purchase receipt if relevant, and a clear description of the issue. 

We will try to respond within a reasonable time. 

  27. Severability 

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will remain in effect. 

 28. Entire Agreement 

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable platform terms, form the agreement between you and us regarding Orendale.
